3 Ways Your Customers Are Using Pinterest

Is Pinterest right for me? Is it right for my business?

Are my people even there? 🤔

And then the second question being, if they ARE on Pinterest how are they using it?

How do I get in front of them?

How do I get visible to the right people on Pinterest?

Such great questions that I am excited to dive into today! 😊

Your Clients On Pinterest:

It really helps to put yourself in the shoes of your clients, and how they would approach the platform.

Although we have our own personal way of using Pinterest.  That’s not necessarily how your customers and your clients are using Pinterest.

If you step into their shoes, here are three different ways that you can look at how they might approach the platform and use Pinterest.

Clients on Pinterest Tip #1: They are looking for inspiration

They might have an idea in mind:

  •  Something to do with their business.
  •  Something that relates to the solutions you provide to your customers and your clients.
  •  Maybe they’re not sure what their problem is.
  •  Maybe they’re not sure what the solution is.

They’re just open to ideas.  They’re in a phase of discovery, so they’re open to being inspired and they are searching.

Tip #2: They are specifically looking for “how-to’s” Or a Step-by-step process

They’re looking for a process. They have something in mind that they’re trying to get help with.

So they know what their problem is.

They’re looking more specifically for a solution.

They are honing in on finding the right solution to their problem.

This is where some of your content, your blog posts, and anything that you publish on Pinterest can give those quick wins.

This is how you can help solve those problems, give those tips, give those processes, those step-by-steps.

ALL of those translate into wins for your people.

That’s how you can get in front of them!

You’re meeting them where they’re at with their specific search, with their specific search entries that they’re putting into Pinterest.

Tip #3″ They’re looking to make a purchase

So they might be more specific as they’re looking for the solution that you offer in your business.

At this level you can pull them into your world through a funnel with a freebie on the front end and then present them with a way to make that purchase.

OR

You can direct them to make a purchase of something that’s a little lower cost that they could actually directly purchase right off of Pinterest!

We can get that purchase.

At each level our clients on Pinterest are searching at different levels, different phases in their buying process, but they’re all there.

Focus on figuring out how you can mix up and match your content to meet them where they’re at.

  • Are they looking for that inspiration?
  •  Are they looking for a step-by-step, how to, are they still trying to figure it out for themselves, or are they already past that?
  •  Or are they looking to make that purchase.

If they’re looking for the step-by-step, that’s where your content, (how to’s, your blog posts, ad free offers) can serve them well

Give them that quick, and those quick wins will pull them into your world.

If they’re a little bit more advanced in their buying process, and they’re looking for a specific solution, that’s where you can start to add in some of those pieces of content that go to waste for them to make a purchase.

Your clients ARE on Pinterest!

Wouldn’t it be amazing to get in front of them while they are actively searching?
